THANK
YOU
Thank you to all of the families who helped out with our Terry Fox Run
donations. Thank you too, to all of the
parents who came along on our field trip to the Snake Pits. We had perfect weather and caught lots of
snakes!
RAINBOWS
Annabelle
(in grade 2) heard a story on the radio (QX104) about a little girl named
Maranda who is very ill. Maranda lives
in Regina with her mom and her sister and asked for people all over the world
to send her pictures of rainbows.
Annabelle asked if our class could make some rainbows for her and we will
be working on them this week and then sending them to Maranda along with our
prayers.
FIELD
TRIP to the MTYP
We will be going on a field trip to the MTYP (Manitoba Theatre for Young
People) at the Forks, to see “Where the
Wild Things Are”. This is an
adaptation of the book by Maurice Sendak.
We will be going on Tuesday, October 16 in the afternoon. A permission slip for this field trip will be
coming home soon.
SENSES
We are continuing the science unit about our senses. We have matched sounds using “Egg Shakers”. We will be trying out “Smelly Jars” and
“Feely Socks”. We will also be having
taste tests and graphing our results.
