BUSY WEEK
We have had an exciting and busy week.  We built Leprechaun traps, but unfortunately didn't catch one.  Shaun Shamrock only left a note, photos and chocolate coins.  The photos of our amazing traps are posted on the hallway bulletin board.  We also wore  marvellous moo-staches and built a cow named Oreo out of recycled milk containers.  We named her Oreo because she is black and white and goes good with milk.

This coming week is our annual "Country Week".  This year we chose Canada's First Nations as our country to study.  We will be taking a look at Manitoba's First Nations people and their culture.  Each day during the last few periods of the day, the classes will be rotating to different rooms and doing activities with different teachers.  We are looking at - dancing, art, music, storytelling, the Seven Teachings, shelter, language, sports and games.

Next up - we will be working on becoming designers and inventers.
This week we designed and made a new basket for Little Red Riding Hood out of paper and tape.  It had to be big enough to hold her lunch and strong enough to carry the lunch to Grandma's house.  We will be working on a number of Fairy Tale designs over the next few weeks.
