MARCH REPORT CARDS
Report cards for the March term will be coming home this Friday, March 8. You should have received a new style of student-led conference sign-up sheet last week, one per family. You are asked to choose between two different conference days (Tuesday, March 12 or Wednesday, March 13) and the office will coordinate the conference times. This sheet needs to be returned to school by Monday, March 7.
LEARNING and LIVING KITS
We are collecting tubes of toothpaste for the month of March (expiry date no less than one year).
READING LOGS
Please return the pink Reading Tree (hearts) reading log for February and please use the new, yellow March reading log for this month. Parents can initial under each picture and the students can colour the initialed pictures. Our classroom reading goal is to read 5 times per week.
OWL PELLETS
We received a package from Vernon, B.C. on Friday that we will be dissecting this week. An owl swallows its prey whole and afterwards it “throws-up” a pellet formed out of the leftover bones, fur and feathers of their meal. We will be taking a look at what is inside of these owl pellets.
