SCHOOL PHOTOS
School
pictures were taken on Friday. An order
form should have come home with your child.
This year all of the ordering will be done on-line. If you have any questions please call the photography
company.
HOME-READING
I am sending home some information about our
home-reading program today. Your child
will also be bringing home a book to begin with. Please read the information letter and let me
know if you have any questions or concerns.
SPELLING
The
grade twos had their first spelling test on Friday. They all did a fine job. Please help your child to remember to hand-in
their homework packages every Friday (we do keep track at school). Grade Ones also need help remembering to
return their homework and Math Bag Games.
FIELD TRIP NOTICE
One of the moms from
our class informed me that the car seat laws have changed lately. Any child under 80 pounds (which would be
almost everyone in grade one and two) will need to have a booster seat or a car
seat when we go on any field trips.
Please make sure to bring your child’s car seat on the day of the Snake
Pit Field Trip on Friday, September 28.
