BIRTHDAY! KAELAN DECEMBER 6
OUR
COMMUNITY
We had a very busy week building our community called BOXTOWN. Thank you for sending in all of the recyclables. After we finished building our town, a giant
guinea pig invaded and destroyed the town (a.k.a. Muffin). The children took pictures of Muffin on,
under and inside of their buildings and we will be writing and putting together
a storybook called PIGZILLA!
LIVING
and LEARNING KITS
For
the month of December, we will be collecting new items for our Living and
Learning Kits. This month we are looking
for packages of crayons and rulers.
CHRISTMAS
CHEER BOARD HAMPERS
Our school will be collecting
food items for the Christmas Cheer Board Hampers. Each class will have one family to make a
hamper for. The children will be
choosing one or two items from the suggested list to bring for our class
hamper. We will send home a note with
your child as soon as possible this week.
I will also be posting a sign-up sheet for presents if your family would
like to buy gifts for the children in our hamper family.
MTYP
FIELD TRIP
I
am sending home permission slips for a field trip to the MTYP. We will be seeing Dr. Seuss’ – Cat in the Hat on Tuesday, December 18. We will be leaving the school around 12:20 pm
and returning around 2:30 pm. If you are
able to drive and/or chaperone for this field trip, please fill in the middle
section of the permission slip. Thank
