What's New in One and Two? March 14 - 18, 2016

*Reminders - Student-Led Conferences on Tuesday and Wednesday (March 15 & 16)

LEPRECHAUN TRAPS
We will be building Leprechaun Traps on Wednesday, the day before St. Patrick's Day.  Please send in any re-cycling materials to school on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.  We have not caught a leprechaun yet (they are very tricky), but each year the traps have been very creative and elaborate.

COUNTRY WEEK
Next week we will be studying the country of Portugal for four days.  During the afternoon classes, the students will be travelling from classroom to classroom experiencing a variety of activities all about Portugal.  We will be looking at the history, geography, dance, sports, art, food and folklore.  If any parents have Portuguese artifacts or cultural activities to share, please let us know.  We would love to hear from you!

Here are some photos of the children with their own owl paintings.

(Sorry Xander, I don't know why you are sideways.)
